Danone has opened a new powdered milk production facility at the Yalutorovsky dairy plant in the Tyumen Region with a processing capacity of up to 250 tons of raw materials a day. The launch will help the region solve the seasonal milk surplus issue: farmers will be able to give over 9 thousand tons of raw milk a year for processing. The production facility will also reduce the powdered milk import, the company plans to enter the markets of Kazakhstan and China, the company press service told Agroinvestor.

Chong Kun Dang from South Korea is planning to build a pharmaceutical plant in Tyumen. The parties agreed on it during Tyumen delegation visit in Seul.

This was announced by Charlie Cappetti, CEO of Danone Russia, at the meeting with Alexander Moor, the Governor of the Tyumen region, the press office of the Head of the region reported.
